This is an entry on the Blood-Stained Roads Table. You can see the main table HERE.
THE BLOOD STAINED ROAD
In this adventure hook the party encounters an eccentric hero on the road named Spear-Hooking God who stands with one foot on a boulder and two short spears with jagged hook tips slung across his shoulders. He turns his head dramatically to the party as they approach and says “You can give me 1,000 spades each or take your chances crawling like the last man to the physician up the road”. As he mentioned the last man he points to an obvious blood trail leading in the direction of Physician Mao Li. This is a trick. He is working with Physician Mao Li (the physician who lives up the road). If they refuse to pay, Spear-Hooking God tries to wound as many of them as he can with his jagged hook tips knowing that Physician Mao Li will charge 2,000 spades to remove each one. The two men split their profits at the end of the day.
SPEAR-HOOKING GOD
Though he calls himself Spear-Hooking God, everyone else knows him as Hairless Lord. He has no body hair and is bald, due to an incident when he was a child. Now he adorns himself in elaborate make-up to create the impression of thick eyebrows and a beard. His eyes are yellow like gold. Spear-Hooking God came to Physician Mao Li to help heal his condition. The cure was unsuccessful and turned his eyes from brown to gold. Now the two work together.
He fights with two spears.
