THE BANYAN

The party was in the Hua Pi encampment where they had just formed an agreement. They finalized the details, telling the Hua Pi to wait for their instruction before going to Hai'an. From there the party traveled north. Along the way, while going through a mountain pass, a man appeared, wearing black robes. He told Shen Chun that Fearless Cat was nearby and wanted to speak with him privately. Shen Chun refused.

They heard the sound of a suona horn beyond the man and started running. A swarm of bees appeared and chased them. They made it but their men fell behind and all 25 were stung to death.

They escaped and made their way back to Yun Hu. From there they decided to find their old sect mate, Chao. From the beggars, they learned that his master, Supreme Master Tung was at the Endless Noodle Restaurant in East Gate.

Little Bai spoke with Filial Cricket who explained that they had seven new recruits to his Heroic Sect.

After these matters were addressed they went to East Gate and found Supreme Master Tung eating a massive bowl of noodles. He continued to eat as they spoke. They asked if they could speak with his disciple, Chao. He replied that Chao would only speak privately with Shen Chun, saying the others would have to leave. When the rest of the party left, a patron at another table, removed his face, revealing himself to be Chao.

He spoke with Shen Chun who said they needed his help and wanted to know if he would agree to travel with them for a month. He said he would do it if they procured him a suona horn.

They left for Xuanlu, where Silent Dagger explained a plan that involved Chao masquerading as Kang of Bone Breaking Sect. They took a sedan chair for Chao and everyone dressed as Bone Kingdom Disciples.

In Xuanlu Silent Dagger and Chao petitioned to meet with the Queen. They were told that the protocols had changed. She would certainly meet with Kang, given his high standing in the martial world, but he could only take one other person with him, not a full retinue of guards. Reluctantly Silent Dagger agreed and they went in to speak with Queen Ai Nu.

There, they asked her permission to move Hua Pi tribesmen into the former crocodile sect lands. She said she would consider it, but first would send a man to meet with the chief of the Hua Pi.

They thanked her and left.

After they left, the party talked and decided to go to Yao Gong Palace to retrieve the Purple Spirit Manual for Jade Priestess.

HAI'AN
Min and Ong Lao prepared to depart from Purple Lotus Temple but first they asked about finding a cure for Yuesheng (a Yen-Li Priest cursed by a Golden Raksha medallion). Wu Gaolin suggested going to the Temple of Supreme Righteousness. She also asked a favor, requesting that they take Xiaomin to Stone Palace Sect and recommend her to the sect chief. They agreed and set out.

They reached the temple of Supreme Righteousness in the mountains and spoke with a female master who led the Phoenix vanguard of the sect. She listened and said she was concerned that the person receiving the cure was not worthy. Min spoke on his behalf and she agreed to cure him, provided he came to the temple to accrue merit and work on his past misdeeds.

On the way to Yun-Hu, Min asked Xiaomin why she wanted to join Stone Palace. She responded that Gaolin had told her she would find her father in Yun Hu. Min asked for more details and Xiaomin told her she was brought to the temple as a baby and didn't know who her parents were. All she knew was that she supposedly inherited her father's looks and her mother's personality.

From there, Min and Ong went to Stone Palace Headquarters where they spoke with Weeping Lotus. He explained that the new headquarters was on Stone Forest Hill and the master awaited them. He also agreed to meet Xiaomin and heard her story. He promised to help find out who her parents were and recommend her entrance into the sect once Shen Chun returned.

Min and Xiaomin went searching for clues about Xiaomin's father. They talked and Min promised to help her.

This is where the session ended.
