THE BAO OF BAO
This looks like a blue perfumed satchel embroidered with silken phoenixes and stars. It is hundreds of years old, and according to legend, belonged to Bao herself, which she gave as a love token to a man named Geng Long. Despite its age, it appears new and gives off a pleasant aroma. The stories say that he betrayed her, leaving her in the hands of criminals. The hatred she nurtured toward him, bestowed the satchel with unusual properties. 

When given as a token of love or friendship, it cannot be removed. If the person wearing the Bao of Bao ever betrays the person who gave it to them, it releases a powerful scent that is pleasant but also causes deadly choking. The wearer must make an Endurance roll TN 8 every round. On a Success they cannot breathe, feel fear and desperation, but survive. On a Total Success they do not have to make an Endurance roll for another ten minutes. On a Failure they fall unconscious and begin to die. Dying cannot be stopped by normal means, and takes a number of days equal to Hardiness. During this time the wearer can see and hear, but cannot breathe, speak, move or act. It is an unbearable state of discomfort and it only ends with death.
