We have a new logo and title for our wuxia discussions on Friday: Wuxia Weekend. It is the same show, but we finally got around to coming up with a name. This episode we talked about the film Hero, by Zhang Yimou.
This film probably doesn't need much of an introduction from me, but it stars Jet Li, Chen Daoming, Maggie Cheung, Tony Leung, Zhang Ziyi, and Donnie Yen. It is about a man who tries to assassinate the king of Qin (the founder of the Qin dynasty) at the end of the Warring States period.
Also, I should have the next War of Swarming Beggars chapter up tomorrow or Monday.
