At Wuxia World, you can follow the story of Sunan and Bao in the Legends of Ogre Gate series by Deathblade. The latest chapter is available HERE. If you want to start from the beginning, check out the INDEX

This is a legendary tree that is said to protect the flow of time or embody the passing of time itself. It is enormous, and if one looks closely, one can see in the bark, the curled images of the phoenixes, elephants, bixies, dragons and other creatures. It grows larger and larger and is located in the realm of Emo Cheng. According to some legends, Shi Guan, the Ten-Thousand-Fold God, came to Emo Cheng in a drunken rage, cut off his arm, and demanded that their second Chief, Divine Murderess, plant it in the ground. She did as instructed and within a year, the Epoch Tree began to grow from that spot. The leaders of Emo Cheng were fearful of the Ten-Thousand-Fold God, so they protected the tree and have treated it with uncharacteristic reverence and respect.

The trues powers are too vast to be reduced to a list of abilities. It is imbued with the power of the all that has come before and a single branch from it, if properly crafted can be used to make a device that could send someone through different Eras of History. However, due to its nature, the full range of possibilities are endless. Emo Cheng is sworn to guard it though and kill any who approach the tree.

Shi Guan is the celestial historian, time keeper and record master of the Bureaucracy of Heaven. He reports directly to The Enlightened Goddess but because of the overwhelming nature of his duties, he can exist in ten thousand places at once, meaning he effectively has ten-thousand bodies. He is the keeper of the golden stele, a massive tower inscription tablet made of gold in the deep recesses of the record office in Wan Mei. This stele records everything that has happened in the history of Qi Xien. Anyone who reads it is blinded immediately as their eyes burn. Only Shi Guancan read the text. Shi Guanis famously irritable and they say he frequently travels the world of man in one of his forms.
