LEGENDS OF OGRE GATE CHAPTER 58: THE REDWOOD OF DRAGON AND PHOENIX

At Wuxia World, you can follow the story of Sunan and Bao in the Legends of Ogre Gate series by Deathblade. The latest chapter is available HERE. If you want to start from the beginning, check out the INDEX.

THE REDWOOD OF DRAGON AND PHOENIX
The Redwood of Dragon and Phoenix is an ancient redwood tree that Sunan, Bao, their allies and their enemies, all passed heading south to the Banyan. Their dreams awakened it, made it spirited, and it regarded itself as their true disciple. Unlike other entities of its kind, it is incapable of attacking or of taking human form. It can move, but only when eyes are not upon it. According to legend, if one can find the Redwood of Dragon and Phoenix, and meditate beneath it, it can give spectacular insights and impart knowledge of the time of Sunan and Bao.
